Global footwear and accessories retailer with a rich heritage spanning over 130 years is seeking a talented and creative Visual Merchandiser to join thei dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing visually appealing and engaging store displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative and attractive store displays aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Plan and execute the retail marketing calendar across all store concepts.
- Conduct regular store visits to review displays, ensure visual standards are maintained, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain and manage visual merchandising props, including inventory tracking and regular maintenance.
- Coordinate the procurement, creation, installation, and delivery of display props.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all display areas, windows, and merchandise.
- Research and analyze current trends in visual merchandising, fashion, and retail design.
- Develop and conduct VM training sessions for store personnel.
- Prepare monthly reports on VM activities, including budgeting and prop sourcing.
- Assist with the development and implementation of VM strategies for new store openings.
- Report any damage to fixtures and fittings to the Area Manager.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Spatial Design, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising within the retail industry (fashion, sports, apparel preferred).
- Proven experience in creating and implementing planograms, window displays, and in-store displays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
