Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in the application of Scrum and Agile methodologies, facilitating agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure adherence to agile processes and maximise team efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of projects for Singapore and US brokerage businesses, including requirement gathering, planning, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams across Singapore and the US, ensuring seamless coordination of resources and stakeholders across time zones.
- Ensure that projects align with US regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, etc.) by working closely with compliance teams to conduct regular reviews and ensure full regulatory adherence.
- Proactively identify risks, manage project changes, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure the achievement of project goals within the defined timeline.
- Manage resources effectively and maintain transparent communication with business and technical teams, ensuring project milestones are met. Manage third-party vendors where necessary.
- Provide regular project updates and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting progress and status to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, FinTech, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in the fintech, trading systems, or brokerage sectors.
- Proven experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and a related certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US financial market operations and regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and DTC.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams in a global setting.
