Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-plan and prepare detailed construction schedules, ensuring effective coordination of all project activities.
- Monitor and report on both on-site and off-site project management, ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on project status.
- Analyze and review project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct regular monitoring of construction work activities, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant construction methods, materials, and BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations.
- Perform site inspections and quality control to guarantee construction meets project specifications and standards.
- Manage site logistics, resource allocation, and troubleshooting of issues that may arise during construction.
- Daily sea travel to island work sites is mandatory.
Requirements:
- Relevant project experience in dredging, reclamation, or near-shore construction is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of marine construction processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including contract law and legal principles.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges efficiently.
- Ability to travel daily to island work sites.
