Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily vessel operations, including vessel movements, document handling, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with Port State regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of international maritime regulations and environmental standards.
- Handle and review ship and cargo documents, ensuring customs compliance for international shipments.
- Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders for vessel maintenance and repair requests.
- Track and review approved purchase requisitions and manage procurement processes for all vessels.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support in shipyard and offshore operations, as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing vessel operations and technical support.
- Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and environmental standards.
- Experience with ship and cargo document management, including customs compliance for international shipments.
- Ability to raise purchase requisitions and manage maintenance and repair procurements.
- Willingness to travel and work in challenging environments, including shipyards and offshore locations.
- Strong team player with the ability to work within time constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
