Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals, oversee P&L management, and drive market share growth across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other Southeast Asian regions. Identify key growth opportunities, devise market-entry strategies, and set objectives aligned with our focus on sustainability and modular infrastructure. Lead complex sales cycles in mission-critical sectors such as data centers, government, healthcare, and commercial industries, utilizing expertise in integrated power protection solutions.

P&L Management

  • Take complete ownership of the office’s P&L, encompassing revenue generation, cost management, and overall profitability. Develop budgets, track expenditures, and execute strategies to enhance financial performance. Prepare and present P&L reports to management, highlighting opportunities for financial improvements and operational efficiencies.

Regional Leadership and Market Development

  • Lead and manage sales operations for the Singapore office while overseeing regional sales activities in Malaysia and Indonesia. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, channel partners, and industry influencers, to strengthen market positioning. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., project, engineering, product management) to tailor offerings to regional needs and promote customized power solutions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery and high levels of client satisfaction. Assist clients in navigating the complexities of infrastructure design, installation, and maintenance, establishing the company as a trusted advisor for sustainable power protection solutions. Conduct regular business reviews to identify emerging needs and nurture long-term partnerships.

Team Development and Leadership

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing sales team across regional offices to boost productivity, achieve sales targets, and maintain our commitment to excellence. Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Lead by example, working closely with the team on creating quotations, submitting proposals, negotiating, and securing deals.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting

  • Track and report on sales and financial performance, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to management. Ensure precise sales forecasting, pipeline management, and P&L accountability to facilitate strategic planning and optimal resource allocation.

Expansion and Innovation

  • Identify and assess potential business opportunities in underserved Southeast Asian markets, creating entry strategies to drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong background in electrical equipment & power solutions sales in data centres will be highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L within regional sales operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of power protection technologies (e.g., DRUPS, UPS, diesel generators, modular power infrastructure solution).
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with experience in regional sales operations.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage budgets and P&L.
  • Ability to travel across the region as required.
