Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of virtual environments using vSphere, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
- Ensure seamless integration and deployment of network switches, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Implement and manage deployment processes for system services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, failover clusters, file servers, and Certificate Authority.
- Configure and manage deployment environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Maintain detailed documentation of deployment configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor deployment processes and environments to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform post-deployment validation to ensure systems are functioning as expected.
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful deployments.
- Communicate deployment status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment processes is a plus.
- Utilize tools such as PowerShell, Ansible etc to automate repetitive tasks and ensure consistency is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with hypervisors (vSphere, Nutanix, Hyper-V) and deployment processes.
- Strong knowledge of network switches, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with system services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, failover clusters, file servers, and Certificate Authority.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Nutanix) are a plus.
