Job Description
- Monitor systems performance and usage, including response times.
- Supervise backups, optimisation, initiation of recovery procedures and routine troubleshooting.
- Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure systems integrity and security.
- Provide technical advice to the team and clients on installation, setup, configuration of systems.
- Implement plans to make systems available to users in a shared, secure and controlled manner.
- Identify any complex system issues to provide advisory to the stakeholders.
- Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (Windows/Linux/VMWare).
- Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the following software/hardware - Active Directory, Exchange Server & Exchange Online, VMware ESXi, SAN Storage & Backup.
- Develop automated processes to define, measure, and report on service quality, stability and capacity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems.
- Systematic in approach and familiar with enterprise level trouble shooting.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
