About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Soft Services Facilities Manager.
In this role, you will oversee the delivery and quality of soft services to ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. You will play a key part in driving service excellence, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, all while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of soft services such as cleaning, waste management, pest control, landscaping, and security.
- Develop, implement, and maintain service standards and operational procedures to ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Supervise and lead a team of facilities staff, providing training, motivation, and performance management to ensure service excellence.
- Foster strong relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate the response to emergency situations, including ensuring prompt action in case of facility breakdowns or safety issues.
- Manage the budget for soft services, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports for senior management on service performance, budget utilization, and key metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to align soft services with broader organizational goals and requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance in handling customer feedback and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of a Diploma or higher qualification in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on soft services.
- Strong knowledge of soft services operations, including cleaning, waste management, and security services.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of relevant local regulations and compliance standards.
