Our client is an MNC in Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a E&I Engineer (1 Year Contract) to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.
Duties of E&I Engineer:
- Review project specifications to verify that equipment aligns with contract requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve electrical and instrument deliverables such as wiring diagrams, data sheets, and equipment lists.
- Generate material requests and assess vendor bids for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Establish and refine engineering standards and procedures for design processes.
- Track and manage project costs and schedules to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Participate in technical meetings, addressing client feedback and resolving concerns.
- Provide on-site support for plant start-ups and troubleshooting activities.
- Offer technical guidance and cost estimates to the sales team.
- Serve as an advisor to engineers and Project Managers.
- Adhere to company health and safety protocols consistently.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Engineering/ Electrical or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with key engineering concepts and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Able to work independently with attention to detail
- Knowledge of hazard area classification
