The Wallenberg - NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship, supported by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, provides the opportunity for early career scientists, engineers and scholars from Singapore and around the world to conduct independent investigations at NTU and a Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) research partner institution in Sweden.
The successful applicant will do independent research in this project with following research aims:
- Study low-latency and leakage-resilient cryptographic algorithms.
- Perform experiments on side-channel analysis and countermeasures.
- Work with PhD students and postdocs on different related cryptographic research problems.
- Present research work regularly and participate in international research meetings.
Competencies and Qualification Requirements:
- PhD in Mathematics/Computer Sciences with focus on cryptography.
- Experience in hardware design, side-channel analysis and symmetric-key cryptography.
- Strong knowledge in hardware description languages, FPGA and digital design.
- Maturity and capacity to begin an independent research career.
- Desire and potential to develop as a future academic leader.
