Our client, a leading manufacturer of cleaners, disinfectant and hand sanitizers is hiring a Purchasing Assistant to join their team.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform all procurement related activities such as raising purchase order, corresponding with suppliers and sourcing for materials and equipment.
  • Liaise directly with warehouse personnel to effectively monitor, and replenish various raw materials and packaging materials for the daily operations.
  • Involved in resolving issues related with material quality, specification and quantity with vendors.
  • Assist in preparing and checking of import documents, to ensure timely customs clearance of goods.
  • Ensure and maintain proper record and filing & records system in department.
  • Other duties assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics Management, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills , with ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrates sense of initiative with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Prior experience in purchasing/sourcing will be a plus.


Working Hours:

8:30am - 6:00pm (Mon- Fri)
Transport Provided at Pioneer MRT
