Our client, a leading manufacturer of cleaners, disinfectant and hand sanitizers is hiring a Purchasing Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all procurement related activities such as raising purchase order, corresponding with suppliers and sourcing for materials and equipment.
- Liaise directly with warehouse personnel to effectively monitor, and replenish various raw materials and packaging materials for the daily operations.
- Involved in resolving issues related with material quality, specification and quantity with vendors.
- Assist in preparing and checking of import documents, to ensure timely customs clearance of goods.
- Ensure and maintain proper record and filing & records system in department.
- Other duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics Management, or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills , with ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Demonstrates sense of initiative with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Prior experience in purchasing/sourcing will be a plus.
Working Hours:
8:30am - 6:00pm (Mon- Fri)
