Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation and calculated risk-taking.
- Lead and manage the R&D department by developing and implementing effective technical strategies.
- Drive product management initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, improve productivity, elevate product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Provide technical direction for product development, support, and certification processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements and secure necessary approvals from relevant authorities.
- Act as an authorized design signatory for certification and design data with major aircraft manufacturers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Candidate must have minimum of 8 years working in aviation R&D, product development, or engineering management.
- Minimum Degreein Engineering or Quality Assurance or related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FAR, EASA, CAAS).
- Extensive knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.
- Proven working experience in leading a team.
