Our client has been looking for a (Japanese speaking) Supply Chain Executive who can join the company.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline supply chain operations and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.
• Demand Planning, Forecasting and Inventory Planning:
• Develop accurate demand forecasts, and monitor forecasts based on market trends, sales data, and other relevant factors.
• Support development and review of monthly production plans to suppliers.
• Optimize inventory levels and develop inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor inventory performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
• May require to handle small scale customers / more easy handled customers
• Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably minimum 3-5 years working experience in Semiconductors, Trading or Distributors
Able to speak Japanese language to liaise with Japanese HQ - Experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in an inventory planning or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good working attitude
- Willing to travel overseas to meet customers or suppliers when necessary
- Able to commerce work immediately or within short notice will be advantageous
