Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align supply chain planning with business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales trends, and order status to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Create and manage production and procurement schedules in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement in forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Prepare and present supply chain reports, highlighting trends, issues, and performance metrics.
- Assist with capacity planning and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the planning process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Planner, or similar role in a supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
