Job Overview:
- Oversee and review the preparation and consolidation of quarterly Group consolidated financial reports, with insightful commentaries and analysis of Group performance for internal board papers and SGX reporting requirements.
- Plan, co-ordinate, review and enhance yearly Budget and quarterly Forecasts processes for the Group, including engaging with various stakeholders and incorporating any ad-hoc requests from Management.
- Lead the preparation of annual Group statutory financial statement and liaise with external auditors, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle and assist in SGX reporting obligations
- Work as part of a team and with management to prepare slides for presentation to the Board of Directors.
- Oversee Group treasury functions, including cash flow planning and banking activities including liaising with bankers.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct industry financial analysis and present findings to senior management
- Support the business teams in evaluating potential investment/divestment and business operation considerations during acquisition/divestment processes.
- Lead in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorisation Limits.
- Review existing procedures and systems and identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancement, automation, and digitalization.
- Support various process harmonizing and improvement initiatives, including monitoring, maintaining, and improving the reporting structure and templates.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy and Finance or equivalent qualification like ACCA. Professional certifications such as CPA/CA would be beneficial.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, including leading teams.
- Experience in operational accounting, including hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial management.
- Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International), tax regulations and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies.
