Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be expected to help manage our mouse colony (implementing and managing complex breeding regimes, weaning, time-pregnancies, surgeries, tail clipping etc.).
- The candidate will be expected to perform these tasks independently after the requisite training has been given.
- In addition, candidate will assist research fellows with performing standard lab work and experimental mouse procedures, including tissue processing, histology and cell culture, as well as contributing to general lab tasks.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Biological Science and Life Science disciplines or equivalent.
- Prior experience in working with mice is highly advantageous, but not essential.
- Successful candidates should have a passionate enthusiasm for research, be self-motivated, highly organized, enjoy working as a team and have good communication skills.
