We are looking for a ServiceNow Operations Engineer to join our client’s Global Operations team and assist with operations for their ServiceNow platforms. This function includes overseeing the platform’s day-to-day operations, guaranteeing system stability, and providing user report.
Experience in System / Application operations, ServiceNow platform.
Strong willingness to ramp up ServiceNow skills.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
1. Operations Support
• Be responsible for Operations of our ServiceNow Platforms, accordingly to our global operation rules / processes: This includes: Incident management, Platform Upgrades, Release Management, Health checks, Security Checks.
• Ensure proper Platform Administration and admin requests OLA fulfillment.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and errors within the ServiceNow platform.
• Weekly report to our Global Operation Group leader.
2. Contribution to SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) activities:
• Contribute within the Global Operation team to SRE activities, aiming at improving operations effectiveness, and improvement of monitoring, automation of operations and admin tasks.
• Contribute to Definition and Documentation of processes or how-To as knowledge base articles.
3. Project involvement
• Actively participate in ServiceNow implementation and integration projects.
• Contribute to the testing and quality assurance processing during project rollouts.
4. Training
• Conduct regular training sessions for employees and contractors.
• Maintaining knowledge base articles for end users.
5. RampUp:
• Ramp Up Knowledge in ServiceNow Platform technology
• Become a Certified System Administrator
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology,
• Experience in Systems / Operations / IT.
• Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript
• Knowledge in Security
• Basic knowledge of ITSM principles
• Experience in IT project management, DevOps/Agile
• Fluent in English
Preferred Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to document processes, configurations, and user guides clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web services (REST, SOAP) is beneficial.
• ServiceNow certification (eg. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator)
