Senior Finance Analyst | Budgeting & Forecasting | 5 days | Changi South

  • Salary: $6,000 - $8,000 + 14-15 Days AL + Bonus
  • 5 Working Days, 9am-6pm
  • Changi South (Between Tanah Merah / Simei / Expo MRT)


Responsibilties

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in the prepare on of budget guidelines, assumptions, and templates.
  • Review and analyse budget proposals, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor budget performance, prepare variance reports, and provide explanations for budget deviations.


Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyse financial data to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actuals analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and track financial metrics, such as profitability, liquidity, and other ratios, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage Capex process including budget, commitment and actual tracking with variance analysis.
  • Support cashflow management.


Financial Modelling and Decision Support:

  • Build financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment (ROI) of new projects or business ventures.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial modelling and analysis.


Financial Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements.
  • Participate in the implementation and testing of financial systems and tools.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial databases).
