About the role:
Lab:
- Analyse/Evaluate samples based on customer’s request. For example, it will be conducted by a microscope, microtome, DSC, FT-IR, retort sterilizer, and Oxtran.
- Conduct food storage tests and coordinate lab tours/demonstrations/seminars when outside company visits.
- Support the management of the technical centre with Technical Service/Market
- Development manager such as budget management, maintenance, and task allocation.
- Based on analysis/evaluation results, make reports and promotion tools, reviewing results from other lab team members.
- Collaborate with an outside company to get better results.
Technical & Market Development
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems and support new developments at customers.
- Promote our new products that will meet customer needs.
- Explore new applications and launch new development projects
- Promote our products to the whole value chain not only direct customers but also indirect customers such as brand owners, machine makers, raw material makers
- to enhance our market presence and create new projects.
- Investigate market trends such as brand owner’s direction, sustainable packaging design and potential market size.
About you:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree holder in Chemistry / Polymer / Chemical Engineering
- Work experience: More than 5 years.
- Technical experience: Experience in technical and market development of polymers for food science, food packaging applications.
