We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join a reputable commodities trading firm as a Trading Operator. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience in coordinating trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full spectrum of operational processes to support cargo transactions within trade operations
- Collaborate with agents, vessel masters, inspectors, and brokers to ensure smooth and efficient shipment execution
- Draft and distribute comprehensive documentary instructions for counterparties, along with inspection protocols for relevant inspectors
- Streamline operational workflows to align with trading objectives, enhancing profitability while minimizing costs and risks
- Monitor and calculate laytime and demurrage to ensure accurate cost reporting and management
- Regularly update and manage operational data in the system, supporting strategic analysis and reporting
- Ensure full compliance with the company’s operational, contractual, and credit risk policies
Key Requirements:
- Degree in international trade, maritime, or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in trade operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player and independent
