The Compliance function one of the pillars of the Group’s internal control setup, Compliance teams work both independently and in close partnership with the Business to adapt to the evolution of the Group’s activities and the requirements of the regulators.
The AVP Regional AML Advisory & Transaction Monitoring, will serve as a pivotal member of the APAC Compliance team, ensuring unwavering adherence to regulatory mandates and internal protocols.
Responsibilities
· Identification and Management of Compliance Risks
· Timeliness of (alert) review
· Quality of alert review and comprehensiveness of closure comments
· Transaction Advisory, MIS Reporting and other support
Requirements
· A recognized degree in Banking/Finance/Accountancy or related qualifications.
· At least 7 years of experience in AML Transaction Monitoring, preferably for Wealth Management.
· Excellent working knowledge of APAC regulations as well as their practical application.
· Experience in and strong understanding of AML, Sanctions, governance and regulatory control frameworks and best practices.
· Strong written and communication skills.
