Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our projects, including LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a BIM Coordinator or Manager, with expertise in BIM software and construction management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage BIM implementation across projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to integrate BIM processes effectively.
- Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with BIM protocols.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Train and mentor team members on BIM standards, workflows, and software usage.
- Manage and update BIM models throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all BIM models.
- Provide technical support for BIM-related issues and ensure smooth software operation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator or Manager.
- Proven experience in handling LTA projects.
- Proficient in BIM-related software, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bentley, Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks. Familiarity with other BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and technical skills in BIM and construction management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions.
