The Assistant Manager will be part of the People Relations team that focuses on building a strong and positive culture, a healthy work environment, and high-performing teams by governing and guiding employer-employee relationships and other people-related matters. This role is key to ensuring the smooth execution of HR policies, programmes, and processes while promoting a fair and supportive work environment.
What you'll be doing
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders by providing trusted advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations
- Support the delivery of HR plans and services in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Guide managers on staff matters such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations, ensuring fairness and transparency
- Address HR-related enquiries from employees and managers, offering appropriate support and solutions
- Facilitate performance reviews and engagement surveys in partnership with business leaders to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure HR processes are executed in line with policies, obtaining necessary approvals and inputs as required
- Analyse staff-related issues, considering diverse perspectives to offer balanced and effective resolutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies and secure storage of sensitive information
- Participate in HR projects, events, and committees involving internal and external stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Bachelor Degree level in Human Resource/ Business or related studies
- 4 - 5 years of experience in Human Resource functions, preferably in healthcare setting
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of the Employment Act and relevant labour regulations
