- 9am - 3pm - morning shift (Collection at West Side, Taman Jurong)
3pm-9pm - afternoon shift (Collection at East Side, Kaki Bukit) - $11/hour
- Working Location: Street corners, shopping malls, door to door
- Attire: Blue Polo Provided/ Covererd Shoes / Long Pants / No Visible Tatoo
Description
We are seeking compassionate and motivated temporary workers to assist in collecting donations for the less fortunate. The Temporary Donation Collector will play a key role in engaging the community, collecting donations, and supporting the success of this charitable cause. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to helping those in need.
- Donation Collection:Collect monetary donations via cash/ pay now from the public at designated locations (e.g., street corners, shopping malls, door to door).
Provide information to donors about the cause and how their contributions will directly benefit the less fortunate.
- Public Engagement:Approach potential donors in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner to encourage contributions.
Answer questions regarding the campaign and its impact on the lives of the less fortunate.
Promote the cause to raise awareness and inspire donations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A passion for charitable work and helping those in need.
- Previous experience in customer service, fundraising, or volunteer work is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate people to donate.
- Friendly, approachable, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions (if outdoor collection).
- Basic record-keeping skills for documenting donations.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
