- Develop and deliver an English-language curriculum that aligns with preschool education standards.
- Use engaging teaching methods to encourage children’s language development, literacy, and communication skills.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Plan and conduct educational activities, including storytelling, games, music, arts, and crafts, to develop cognitive and motor skills.
- Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear communication regarding child development.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure that children’s welfare and safety are prioritized.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with Singapore's preschool education system and guidelines is an advantage.
- Must have EDCA (L2)
