In this role, you will play a pivotal part in achieving the financial control team’s objectives, overseeing the year-end financial statement close process for Singapore operations, addressing compliance and reporting requirements from business activities, and collaborating with the finance team to enhance the efficiency and precision of support provided to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
You will play a crucial role in driving excellence across financial accounting and controls. This exciting opportunity involves ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory requirements, managing external audits, and preparing essential compliance reports. You will collaborate with the various internal finance team such as tax on compliance obligations, and enhance financial controls by strengthening internal systems, policies, and procedures. With opportunities to contribute to diverse ad hoc projects, this role promises variety and impact in a fast-paced environment.
Your Profile
Our client is seeking a highly skilled professional with 7 years of experience in financial reporting, ideally with prior Big 4 audit exposure and CA/CPA qualification, regional APAC exposure, along with a strong grasp of accounting principles and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must for this impactful role.
