We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Intervention Educator to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess children with learning and developmental issues identified by early childhood educators using prescribed screening tools.
  • Provide individual and group intervention for children who have developmental needs.
  • Develop Individualized Development Plans (IDPs) and implement a Development Support Programme (DSP) based on the child’s needs.
  • Support Early childhood educators by integrating intervention strategies and facilitating children’s participation in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with the centre principal, educators, and parents on the referrals of children for assessment or support programs.
  • Implement professional platforms for families including gathering information on current trends and practices related to the child’s needs through parent training, support groups, and follow-up consultations.
  • Develop and facilitate staff training concerning the diverse needs of the children and share class-wide and home strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each child.

Requirements

  • Specialist Diploma in Early ChildhoodIntervention (Special Needs) or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (English) – ECDA LON L2 (EL) equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with children with Developmental Needs.
  • Nurturing and dedicated to supporting the development and well-being of children.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A reflective practitioner with a positive attitude and resourcefulness.
  • Strong organization skills and excellent command of English Language.
