Summary:
- Basic salary up to $4000
- Variable bonus
- OT fees available
- 5 days work week
- 7.30am - 5.00pm
- Location: Jurong East
- Engineer / Assistant engineer with mechanical background
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing processes operated with minimize manufacturing costs
- Manage the processes improvement program based on best practices in the metal drum making industry
- Conduct employee performance reviews and work closely with the HR department for any staff grievances
- Maintain work safety practice as well as housekeeping in all areas
- Prepare process documentation such as work instruction, process specifications and assist on the quality plan
- Ensure the subordinates are trained and equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills
- Assist HR in OT records as well as recruitment of production personnel
- Prepare reports, maintain up-to-date training manuals and make recommendations for operation improvement
- Other relevant ad-hoc duties
Key Requirements:
- Min 2 years of experience in manufacturing production
- Preferably with mechanical background
- Willing to work OT when needed
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking clients / stakeholders
