Our client is a leading logistics company. They are looking for a Software Engineer to assist their IT team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at West of Singapore– easily accessible. The Software Engineer is responsible for:
Duties
- Assist in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), maintenance, and ongoing support.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and demonstrate familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Provide training to users to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of the system.
- Analyze business processes to improve system efficiency and align functionalities with organizational goals.
- Collect and document system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining data integrity for system enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot ERP system issues and improve data exchange with external systems.
- Customize and configure the ERP system to meet business needs, including implementing security access controls.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and custom solutions using relevant tools and frameworks to support system performance analysis and insights.
- Stay updated on system updates, industry best practices, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Any adhoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field
- Min 3 years of experience in full stack software development, including 3 cycles of implementation
- Proven expertise in ERP system support, analysis and customization
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in SQL and database management
- Proficiency in specific ERP development tools and frameworks (e.g., BAQS, Dashboards, BPMs, UD fields)
- Experienced in developing application using .NET Framework, C# will be preferred
- Experience with Epicor, Navision and Microsoft development technologies like C/AL, Dynamics NAV/ Business Central, .NET and Azure will be advantage
