Job descriptions:
- Carry out Paediatric Urology investigations and Paediatric Surgery Outpatient Day Procedures.
- Schedule for sedation team and/or anaesthetic team support for investigations and procedures that may require sedation or general anaesthesia as requested by team doctors
- To schedule, actualise and perform charging of patient’s admission before and after Urodynamics Study and/or other procedures requiring admission.
- To set up the machine for above mentioned investigations/procedures when required
- To provide patient / family members on information regarding above mentioned investigations and procedures.
- To be responsible in proper filing of patients’ reports for easy retrieval
- To ensure appropriate and timely electronic documentation of investigations and procedures.
- To educate and instruct patient and family on filling up Bedwetting Questionnaire, Bladder Diary, measurements of urine, spillage.
- To ensure that stock level on supplies and consumables are adequately maintained and replenished.
- To be responsible for Paediatric Surgery Urology Hotline for communication with patients/parents and colleagues
Job requirements:
- Diploma in Medical Science / Bio –Technology
- Competent in computer literacy
