Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R2-IDEX Technical Consultant to join our team. As an Application Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborate with and manage teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development and Design: Design, build, and configure applications to align with business process and application requirements. Develop innovative solutions to enhance application functionality. Ensure applications are scalable, robust, and meet quality standards.
Team Collaboration and Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP for Utilities InterCompany Data Exchange (R2-IDEX). Collaborate and manage cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and implement requirements. Provide technical guidance to team members and perform code reviews. Make informed team decisions and provide solutions to challenges affecting multiple teams.
Configuration & Release Management: Maintain advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management. Ensure effective design and build enablement processes. Manage and streamline build management activities to meet project deadlines.
Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues promptly. Identify root causes of application issues and implement long-term solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance application development and delivery processes. Implement best practices for design, coding, and release management to continuously improve team performance.
Qualifications:
Master Proficiency:
SAP for Utilities InterCompany Data Exchange (R2-IDEX).
Advanced Proficiency:
Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement, Build Management.
Additional Skills:
