Main Purpose of Role:
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of equipment throughout its lifecycle. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, fit-for-purpose equipment and services while meeting client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose problems or malfunctions in equipment, assess service requests, and perform technical interventions such as repairs, maintenance, or replacements.
- Carry out commissioning and testing of installations or components in line with project requirements, protocols, and safety regulations.
- Ensure seamless field service operations by handling technical, logistical, and administrative tasks. This includes documentation management, planning, and communication.
- Perform disassembly and assembly of equipment, including physically intensive tasks. Engage in machining activities such as drilling, sawing, or welding.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while ensuring project timelines and goals are met.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience as Service Engineer, preferably in cranes or wire ropes)
- Prior experience in equipment servicing or manufacturing is an advantage
- Client-oriented mindset, Strong planning and organizational skills
- Progress monitoring and follow-through
- Adaptability in dynamic environments
- Effective problem analysis and resolution
- Self-motivated, team player, and able to work independently
- The role involves physically demanding tasks and may require travelling to client sites
