Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
- Provide comfort measures and pain management techniques.
- Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, symptom management, and end-of-life care options.
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
- Manage and alleviate patient symptoms, such as pain, nausea, vomiting, and shortness of breath.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor the effectiveness of pain management interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports.
Requirement
- Valid SNB License
- Min 1 -2 years of experience
- Keen on moving into a palliative setting
