The Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s relationships with individual in the Malaysian market. This includes offering tailored banking solutions, identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling products, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Understand clients’ financial goals and needs to provide personalized banking solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities to acquire high-net-worth clients
  • Promote and cross-sell a range of banking products and services including loans, deposits, wealth management, and credit services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs related to product uptake and client growth.
  • Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, considering their specific financial needs and risk tolerance.
  • Advise clients on wealth management, investments, and other banking solutions in line with the bank's offerings.
  • Assist in the assessment and management of the credit risk for clients.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure proper documentation for all new accounts and loans.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic changes, and regulatory updates that may impact clients and banking operations.
  • Provide regular reports on client activities, sales performance, and market insights.
  • Ensure clients receive top-tier service through proactive follow-ups and addressing any concerns.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues with efficiency, maintaining high client satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or sales, with a strong background in relationship management or wealth management in Malaysia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients.
    Excellent understanding of banking products, financial markets, and investment strategies.
  • Proficient in sales techniques, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of clients effectively.
