MES Engineer/ IT Engineer/ Manufacturing IT
*Permanent Position
*Working Hrs: Mon- Fri 8.15am - 5.45pm
Our client is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing solutions provider.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and evaluate shop floor automation solutions.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of MES systems to enhance production planning and execution.
- Configure and integrate MES with other plant systems, such as ERP and PLCs.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement MES modules for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and conduct testing (SIT, UAT).
- Provide system monitoring and support, system backup, including troubleshooting, configuration, and issue resolution.
- Perform systems and user administration.
- Provide training to end-users on MES, create and maintain documentation
- Develop and implement digital solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Lead and manage digitalization projects
- Provide technical support for production PCs, workstations, and network devices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2- 5 years of practical experience in MES implementation, configuration, and support, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of MES systems and their functionalities.
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, SCADA).
- Skilled in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, C#) and scripting.
- Experience in project and vendor management.
