As a Transplant Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Attending to and evaluating of referrals by physicians for live and deceased donor transplant.
- Assisting potential donors and recipients in the entire kidney transplant process.
- Providing counselling and conducting transplant workup for donors.
- Providing counselling to patients and their families.
- Maintaining close connections with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and prepare patient for deceased donor kidney.
- Attending ward rounds and clinic sessions.
- Providing discharge teaching to newly transplanted patients
- Assisting in the follow-up care of complex case patients.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years working experience preferred or Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Arts and Social Science majoring in Social Work or Life Sciences
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Mature personality
- Willing to be on-call.
- Able to work independently
