Morgan McKinley is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a 12-month contract role with a leading multinational social media company. This full-time remote role, based in Singapore, involves budget management and overseeing the entire purchasing process. We seek someone with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage budgets and analyze extensive data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Public Policy and Programs teams in APAC with procurement, including contract guidance, sourcing, and third-party assessments.
- Create and manage purchase orders in the client's in-house Purchasing tool our in-house purchasing tool, and track them to completion.
- Oversee the manual onboarding of new suppliers/vendors.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendor queries and liaise with procure-to-pay (P2P) teams for invoice/payment issues.
- Act as the primary contact and escalation point for APAC queries with central internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing and finance best practices.
- Collaborate with managers to complete Statement of Work documents as required by the contract team.
- Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve defective invoices.
- Work with Finance on projected spends, ensuring accuracy in monthly accruals and quarterly budget reallocations.
- Analyze reports and provide monthly budget updates to directors, ensuring teams stay on track with spending.
- Assist teams with quarterly budget forecasts.
- Provide miscellaneous administrative support, customized reporting, and handle ad hoc projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or euivlqnt
- Atleast 2 years of experience in purchasing and budget management.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Advanced user of Excel and Outlook.
- Project management experience, especially handling multiple projects in various stages of completion.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Highly motivated team player who can work well under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience working cross-functionally and consulting with internal business clients.
- Proven ability to drive change and improve end-to-end processes.
