Service Provisioning Engineer

The Service Provisioning Engineer is responsible for planning, configuring, and deploying telecommunication services to meet customer requirements. This role ensures efficient provisioning of voice, data, and internet services, working closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.


Make an Impact by:

  • Service Deployment: Configure, test, and activate telecommunication services, including voice, ethernet, and DWDM services.
    Implement network solutions to meet customer specifications and contractual commitments.
    Perform end-to-end service testing and troubleshooting during the provisioning phase.
    Integrate new customer services into existing network infrastructure.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams during service activation.
    Diagnose and resolve provisioning issues within SLA guidelines.
    Provide Level 2/3 technical support for provisioning-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with network engineering and vendors for smooth service implementation.
    Work with third-party vendors and partners to deliver seamless connectivity solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of provisioning processes and configurations.
    Prepare and update technical documentation, workflows, and user guides.
    Generate reports on service delivery performance and provisioning timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the provisioning process to enhance efficiency.
    Assist in automating repetitive tasks and optimizing workflows.

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in IT or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Working on Saturdays (9am – 1pm) on a rotating basis will be required after the candidate trained.
  • Working on rotating after office hours standby will be required after the candidate is trained.
