Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the full set of accounts using an ERP system.
- Oversee the Accounts Department and ensure proper documentation and archival of financial records.
- Perform timely month-end financial closings and prepare management reports.
- Conduct monthly stock reconciliations.
- Collaborate with software consultants to address ERP-related issues.
- Oversee the month-end closing process.
- Handle quarterly GST submissions.
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
- Coordinate with bankers regarding invoice financing and trust receipts.
- Ensure all insurance policies are renewed on time.
- Manage the renewal of customs bank guarantees (BG).
- Complete annual and quarterly statistical submissions.
- Handle license renewals.
- Work with IT consultants on network and system issues.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the trading industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and accounting practices.
- Experience in GST submissions, audit preparation, and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with external stakeholders, including bankers, auditors, and consultants.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
