Responsibilities:
System Administration
- Planning and migration of network, bare metals, virtual machines and services from Jurong East Hub Level 1 Server Room to Level 9 Computer Room
- Handling daily backup of DevOps services
- Administration of user accounts for access of services and environment
- Troubleshooting of servers and network issues
DevOps and Infrastructure Management
- Liaising with client for provisioning and deployment on QA and Production (current known as QA/Prod) environment
- Validating and assess risks and impact on both QA and Production environment, with Application team, on any CAB inputs
- Point of contact for Phase 1 VAPT assessment and resolution
- Mitigate and resolve security risks for deployment in client’s environment
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes.
- Ensure security and compliance across the infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 3+ years of experience in system administration or DevOps.
- Experience in server/network migrations, daily backups, and user account management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for servers and network issues.
- Familiarity with QA/Production deployments, risk assessment, and Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and resolving security risks.
- Proficiency in automating processes and ensuring infrastructure security and compliance.
- Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Jenkins, monitoring systems, and networking protocols.
