Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Automation: Design, develop, and program methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured and diverse data sources, transforming them into actionable insights and automated solutions.
- Algorithm & Software Development: Develop algorithms, software programs, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business experts to enrich data and deliver meaningful insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Streamlining Operations: Automate repetitive data tasks, minimizing manual intervention and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations to effectively communicate findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to ensure best practices.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide assistance in administrative matters, global project handling, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data science role
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and PowerShell, with expertise in data manipulation and analysis libraries.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong understanding of automation techniques and tools to streamline processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
