Job Description:
- Contacting customers to follow up on outstanding payments.
- Ensuring the prompt and efficient collection of all overdue debts and payments from customers.
- Negotiating repayment plans with customers to address outstanding balances.
- Collaborating with legal counsel to pursue legal actions against defaulting customers.
- Coordinating with vehicle repossession agents to manage and track repossessed vehicles.
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients to settle overdue accounts.
- Addressing internal and external inquiries regarding outstanding customer balances.
- Recording and allocating daily receipts within the accounting system.
Job Requirement:
- Experienced in managing the entire legal process of debt collection.
- Skilled in providing advice on the most appropriate legal actions at various stages of debt recovery.
- Proficient in building and maintaining strong client relationships both internally and externally, across all levels.
- Capable of reconciling complex accounts with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to handle potentially sensitive or difficult conversations with a calm and confident demeanor.
- Diploma or Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with hire purchase operations is an advantage.
