Job Responsibility:
- Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networks, and backup solutions.
- Administer and configure infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Data Centre systems, telephony, video conferencing, and network devices (e.g., firewalls, routers, VPN, wireless).
- Manage cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure technologies (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimal downtime.
- Perform regular system backups, implement disaster recovery plans, and ensure successful patch management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide technical support (L1/L2) to users across local and remote branches, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and source solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Document technical processes, update user and administration guides, and maintain accurate system records.
- Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new technologies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory (on-premise & hybrid), Azure technologies (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with network devices (firewalls, routers, VPNs, wireless networks) and IT security principles.
