Our client is a leading manufacturing company. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the next phrase of their business. They are located at East of Singapore– easily accessible. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for:
Duties
- Design and develop the software architecture for company instrument systems.
- Collaborate closely with the hardware engineering team to analyze system requirements, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability are achieved.
- Define and document software requirements, architecture, design, and test plans to align with system goals.
- Implement and test system software, addressing issues until resolved to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery by aligning software development with project schedules and requirements.
Requirements
- Min Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
- Solid knowledge and extensive working experience in low level communication protocol, motion control, device drivers and firmware will be preferred
- At least 3 years of experience with system/architecture development on an equipment system.
- Solid programming skills in C/C++/C#
- Familiar with Python, Linux and Qt would be an advantage.
