Roles & Responsibilities
- Support and assist in providing oversight of unit dose repackaging and barcoding operations in Barcode Pharmacy.
- Operate Unit Dose Packaging System to repackage medication into barcoded unit dose.
- Ensure proper functioning of pharmacy equipment, automation system processes and workplace cleanliness.
- Conduct Quality Control Check on repackaged drugs.
- Conduct Drug Storage Audit Check in patient care areas and report findings to stakeholders.
- Plan and allocate bin in Automated Dispensing Cabinets to ensure medication safety
- Perform inventory management in Barcode Pharmacy & Automated Dispensing Cabinets, e.g. ordering, drugs distribution, expiry date tracking, discrepancies reconciliation, space planning and drug bin creation/ modification in the cabinets.
- Ensure medication safety in repackaging process and drug storage aspects.
Requirements
- Min Dip in Pharmaceutical Science (Clinical Track)
- Those with pharmacy tech exp will be an advantage
- Those without exp are welcome to apply
5.5 days office hours, alternate Saturday
backend pharm tech, minimal patient fronting
