RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Social Worker (SSW) is responsible for facilitating change and improving the lives of individuals, families, community facing transitional challenges through the provision of direct services.
- Supervise and approve case assessment and outcome plans, and case closure
- Provide consultations for assessment of cases with risk issues
- Support or co-lead review of complex and risk cases in the company
- Supervise subordinates in the follow through of intervention plans, especially for complex and or risk cases
- Provide supervision of groupwork and community work through modelling, observations and debrief etc
- Function as a Team Lead or Covering Team Lead in Mental Health Service
- Ensure KPIs will be met within the timeline as per funding agencies' requirement
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD and Supervisor
- Possess Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers
- At least 4 years or more working experience as a Social Worker
- At least 2 years' experience in managing crisis intervention and supervising the junior social workers
COMPETENCIES:
- People-Oriented, good interpersonal and relation building skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Analytical ability & problem-solving skills to analyse information quickly and accurately, and formulate decisions and make recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with various IT platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective report writing skills
- Team Player
