Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement network architectures for LAN/WAN/Wireless
- Configure and deploy routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Implement switching protocols (STP, MSTP, VLANs).
- Design and implement network security measures (firewall Policies, ACLs, VPNs).
- support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s network devices and ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency) - Incident/Problem/Change/Service Request/Configuration Management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (network diagrams, configurations).
Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customer’s network devices
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of networking protocols like routing and switching and Wireless (Actual physical experience in datacentres for all Network devices/equipment)
- Experience in Firewall configuration and network security policy implementation. Hands-on experience on FortiGate/cisco/Palo Alto is desirable
- Experience in debugging and fixing technical problems in network by coordinating with vendors, datacentre and onsite support teams whenever required
- Excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP)
- Excellent understanding of current network technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec, VRRP, HSRP, SNMP, NAT, Multicast, Sub-netting, Access-lists.
- Excellent understanding of VLANs, Trunking, VTP, Spanning Tree, etherchannel etc
- Have experience in creating network documents and flow diagrams
- Hands-on remote access and site to site VPN
- Experience in monitoring tools like solarwind, NMS, Wireshark, MRTG Cacti etc
- knowledge of Windows, Linux and Load Balancer will be added advantage.
