The Client of mine is well known within the logistic industry and their Global HQ is based here in Singapore. They are now in an expansion mode and is looking to hire a Business Process Manager that is passionate and driven to oversee the full implementation and migration processes for the Shared Services setup and others. This is an Individual Contributor role.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and effectively communicate a clear strategic plan for the Shared Services transition, ensuring it aligns with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally (executives, department leaders) and externally (vendor representatives), ensuring alignment and support throughout the transition.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams involved in the transition, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture to meet project milestones.
- Decision-Making: Make timely and informed decisions, considering the transition’s impact and the broader organizational context.
- Change Management: Drive organizational change by clearly articulating the benefits of the Shared Services initiative and proactively addressing concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to the transition, create strategies to mitigate them, and guide the execution of risk management plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by assessing processes and systems, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing best practices.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are advantageous.
- Proven project management experience, particularly in executing complex projects within set timelines.
- PMP or Certified ScrumMaster certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the container shipping industry is a plus.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
