The objective for ELPRO PTE. LTD. (Singapore) is to further develop the Asian Market. In order to achieve this goal, a strong sales power is required.

The Business Development Manager APAC reports to the Sales Director ("SD") in Singapore and works directly with allocated customers and distribution partners in Asia.

In this duty, the Business Development Manager APAC is responsible to play ELPRO's full portfolio of solutions. Revenues and profit margins of existing customers should be retained and increased. New customers to be gained and further developed. Further, the Business Development Manager provides important input on future sales activities and action plans to grow business in Asia and plays a key role to achieve the goals set in co-operation with the Managing Director. The collaboration between local sales teams and global key accounts is fundamental for ELPRO's success and has to be strongly emphasized by the Sales Director Asia. Due to the complexity of customer projects and processes, it is essential to properly document the complete sales and project processes in ELPRO's ERP system.

Sales:

  • In co-operation with the Sales Director develop the business in Asia.
  • Grasp the market potential for all ELPRO solutions in the defined market.
  • Own customer responsibility.
  • Serve as an expert on customer needs and organizations, contract negotiations and customer retention.
  • Provide input to specific objectives of the budget / sales plan with functional department.
  • Develop partnerships to increase growth with selling partnerships, provide input to contract renewal and overall development of the partners.
  • Promote and develop a strong sales culture within the organization.
  • Lead sales projects in order to win the business and to ensure a smooth implementation of such.
  • Work close together with customer service, project management and technical team to bring projects to success.
  • Frequent information exchange with other local sales organizations and Global Key Account Management.

Planning:

  • Plan in co-operation with the Sales Director the sales activities in the defined market.
  • Plan and properly documents sales opportunities, activities, visits, customer feedbacks etc. in ELPRO's ERP system or other defined tools.
