Senior Assistant Manager (HR Business Partner) - AHP Portfolio


Location: Jurong ( Hospital Govt Sector )
Salary: Up to $5K (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Manpower Planning & Operations:

  • Support manpower planning, project hiring needs, and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Provide guidance on performance management and people-related issues.
  • Advise and implement HR policies and improve HR processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights on employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage mass renewals for practicing certificates for AHPs/Pharmacists.
  • Prepare HR-related reports for departments and stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Partner with the Performance & Reward team for promotion and annual appraisal exercises.
  • Address employee queries related to compensation and benefits.

Talent Management & Employee Development:

  • Work with the Talent Management Specialist and HODs on talent identification and succession planning.
  • Develop career progression opportunities for high-potential staff.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Provide advisory support on staff disciplinary issues and grievances, including investigations.
  • Recommend interventions to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with secondment agreements and coordination of meetings.
  • Support annual budgeting and submission of accruals.
  • Contribute to on-the-job learning and share HR best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Post-graduate qualifications or IHRP-CP certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of HR generalist experience. Healthcare experience is advantageous.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with SuccessFactors HRIS is a bonus.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR operations, Employment Act, and related legislations.
  • Attributes: A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others. Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
